Lawyer Cascio

Attorney-at-law, Cetti Cinzia Cascio, graduated with honours from the State University of Milan in 1988.

She has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 1993, as well as a member of the Specialized High Court of Cassation Bar since 2006.

Her training began in 1988 at her father’s law firm, working on civil law matters, providing both out-of-court advice and assistance on trial-related issues.

Since 1995, she has practiced independently in her own firm, dealing with most areas of civil law: inheritance, real estate rights, contracts, commercial, labour issues, copyright law, civil liability (torts), and family and children’s law.

In 2005, together with trusted colleague, Maria Ferraro, she set up a new law firm, which has continued to to provide both out-of-court advice and litigation coverage, including as regards arbitration matters.

In particular, Cetti provides ongoing out-of-court advice to small and medium-sized companies/entities on all manner of contractual matters: privacy, credit recovery, and related litigation. She also advises individuals on asset and inheritance/succession protection strategies, including both out-of-court advice and litigation management.

As part of her continuing legal education, she has attended in-depth and refresher courses on many fields of practice both in Italy and abroad.

Passions and passtimes: reading, travelling and playing tennis.

Lawyer Ferraro

Lawyer Maria Ferraro graduated with honors from the University of Messina in 1995. She has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 1999, as well as a member of the Specialized High Court of Cassation Bar since 2017.

Her training began at an important Milan-based legal, tax, business and financial consulting firm.

She provides out-of-court advice and assistance to mainly small and medium-sized companies, non-unincorporated associations and insurance companies, dealing with bond law, commercial law, corporate law, insurance and social security law, as well as transportation law.

She is an expert defense litigator, practicing both before the ordinary courts and in arbitration procedures, also dealing with debt collection matters and credit enforcement proceedings.

She also acts as an arbitrator in administrative and ad hoc proceedings, as well as a special receiver in situations involving corporate conflicts of interest.

Law. Matteo Quintili

Lawyer Matteo Quintili graduated with honors from the University of Milan – Bicocca in 2015, having successfully defended a thesis on international law. He has been an admitted member of the Milan Bar Association since 2017.

At the beginning of his practice of law, he focused his interest on the subjects of domestic civil law, which he has deepened in a number of ways during his legal practice collaboration at the Law Firm of Cascio & Ferraro.

At the firm, his current practice focuses on business law and insurance law, covering both litigation and legal advisory roles, as well as on privacy matters.

In 2021, Matteo deepened his expert knowledge in the latter field by completing an Executive Master Program in “Data Protection Officer & Privacy” offered by the 24ore Business School.

His main interests outside of work include, in particular, politics, current social issues and sports.

Law. Enrico Ghiani

Attorney Enrico Ghiani graduated with honors from the University of Bologna (Ravenna Campus) in November 2015, having written and successfully defended his thesis on the civil liability of physicians and health care facilities.

He completed his legal traineeship at the Law Firm of Cascio & Ferraro.

From June 2022 to May 2023, he worked as an employee at the Regional Employment Agency of Emilia-Romagna (Italian region).

He is qualified as a lawyer at the Appeals Court of Milan and, from May 2023 on, he has been an associate with The Law Firm of Cascio & Ferraro.

In his free time, Counsellor Ghiani is an avid bibliophile and amateur runner.

Cecilia Bonaldi

Cecilia Bonaldi studied law in Pavia, as well as in Passau, Germany (as part of the Erasmus EU exchange program).

Before coming to the firm, she obtained valuable work experience with significant contact with the public, mainly in the hotel industry. She is now part of the team of the Law Firm of Cascio & Ferraro, where she is in charge of client reception, file maintenance and accounting matters. She provides both partners and other lawyers affiliated with the firm with key assistance in their daily activities, in addition to handling other firm management issues. 

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking and tending to her garden.
